There are two types of people when it comes to vision. The visionaries and the people that follow that vision. Neither are less important.

The visionary is commonly the leader. This is the one that God’s anointed with the vision to lead and take people into that vision. Without this, nothing happens. There always needs to be an instigator of sorts to get the vision off the ground.

God’s also anointed people not to carry the vision but to catch the vision. These people are just as important as the visionary. Without the visionary nothing gets off the ground, without the supporting cast nothing gets off the ground. As the right people show up at the right time the vision becomes so much more than just a vision, it starts to become a movement.

Without both kinds of people the vision is either not caught or never becomes functional.

But how does God surround us with people?
